Armari Cooling Technology

Building a solid reliable workstation is more than just putting a different motherboard in a case. We started designing our own bespoke workstations chassis in 2013. In 2019 we introduced our first bespoke chassis designed exclusively for AMD's Threadripper 3000X series.

Today we have 2 bespoke workstation chassis designs for AMD's Threadripper 7000 series that are built to ensure these amazing processors can operate at the maximum performance for the life of the machine. Our approach is more than skin deep. Our Enterprise CPU coolers are designed for server class workloads operating up to 24hrs a day at full load.

  • Generic Gaming AIO CPU coolers used by many of our competitors for Threadripper processors.
  • These coolers have a round cold plate designed for desktop processors. This design does not fully cover the top surface (heat-spreader) of the Threadripper 7000X processor, resulting in sub-optimal cooling.
  • These coolers will most likely not apply the correct mounting pressure to the Processor, which could result in unreliable operation.
  • Armari Enterprise class AIO CPU cooler with TRX50 DDR5 RDIMM memory cooler, designed by Armari and exclusive to Armari Magnetar® Workstations.
  • Without a RAM Cooler, DDR5 RDIMMs can overheat under high memory load conditions causing ECC errors, reduced performance or data corruption.
  • Built for AMD Threadripper 7000 series processors.
  • Designed to provide the correct mounting pressure to AMDs sTR5 specification.

All other workstations configurations were using Server registered memory at the manufacturers specified default JEDEC spec memory.
