Magnetar Range

We've been developing the Magnetar® workstation range since 2012, due to the inherent limitations with using off-the-shelf PC cases for professional workstations. 10 Years ago workstations and PCs were only typically differentiated by their graphics card, a Pro GPU for a workstation and a Gaming GPU for a regular PC. Today's workstations are very different, requiring a specialist build. Multinational OEM manufacturers (Dell, HP, Lenovo) all design high quality bespoke workstations, but they are often expensive with conservative component choices and thus offer lacklustre performance compared to PCs built using the best of the off the shelf components. Generalist PC system builders build workstations using off-the-shelf cases, designed primarily for DIY build-at-home gaming PC enthusiasts. We established a better way to build professional workstations, taking the best of the off-the-shelf components and vertically integrating them into our bespoke professional chassis with support electronics we design. So we can produce workstations that are comparable to bespoke OEM manufacturers, but using the best components available on the market offering customers quality and reliability with the best performance and features.
